Publications - Grand Junction Free Press
|
The Grand Junction Free Press is published every Monday, Wednesday and Friday and is the area’s only free newspaper. It was founded in 2003 in response to demand for a true local newspaper — and the Free Press has remained true to its principles. This Western Colorado community is diverse, boasting vineyards and wineries (and even a new “boutique” distillery), expansive ranches, farms and orchards, and the Colorado National Monument, along with shopping, dining, lodging, great mountain biking, hiking, skiing, an array of special events and festivals, and a bustling economy based on tourism and energy. There’s a lot going on in Grand Junction, Colorado biggest city west of the Continental Divide. Local news, sports, education, business, real estate, arts and entertainment, popular columnists, weather — it’s all in the Free Press.
