There were fireworks on the Fourth of July 2007 and they marked the birth of a new newspaper: Windsor Now (well, OK, and the birth of the United States of America). Windsor Now was created to give the people of Windsor and nearby communities the kind of genuine, intensely focused local news coverage they had long been looking for. The free paper is distributed to more than 8,200 homes and many newsracks in the area every Wednesday. It features coverage of local news, events and sports. Located roughly midway between Greeley, Ft. Collins and Loveland, Windsor has easy access to those larger towns, yet retains its friendly, small-town character.
