Andy Bernhard, a Bethesda, Maryland native, became part of the Swift Communications team following its acquisition from Digital First Media in December 2015. Prior to joining Swift, Bernhard was Vice-President of Utah Media Inc. Bernhard continues to serve as Publisher of The Park Record, a position he has held for nearly 30 years. Bernhard has had newspaper ownership interests in Nevada and Washington State and served as General Manager of Diversified Suburban Newspapers, operating community newspapers and commercial printing facilities with a combined circulation of 76,000 in the Salt Lake Valley. While publisher of The Park Record, the publication has been the recipient of numerous awards from the Utah Press Association including General Excellence and Community Service. He has served on the Board of The Park City Chamber Bureau as well as Past President of the Park City Rotary Club.
Andy holds a B.A. degree in Political Science from the University of Denver. He and his wife, Julia, have 2 adult children, Sam and Katie, and granddaughter Gabby.
When not dutifully at work, Andy likes to ski, sail, fish and golf.
