Named the 2018 Newspaper Person of the Year by the Colorado Press Association, Bryce Jacobson has spent his life working in the newspaper business, starting at age 9 as a paper boy. He worked his way up through the circulation side of the business. He led his first newspaper as Publisher of the Craig Daily Press in 2005. Joined Swift in 2012 as Advertising Director for the Greeley Tribune before becoming the Publisher in 2016. Promoted to the Director of Advertising Shared Services in 2019 and then became the Publisher of the Glenwood Springs Post Independent and Rifle Citizen Telegram in July 2020.
Jacobson is involved in the communities where he has lived, working with Chambers of Commerce, Boys & Girls Clubs and as a longtime member of Kiwanis International clubs. He is the father of two kids, a son Peyton and daughter Bayley, and spends much of his personal time exploring their interests in addition to hiking and golfing.
