Meg Boyer is an associate general manager of Colorado Mountain News Media and the publisher of the Summit Daily News and the Sky-Hi News. She oversees media operations in Summit, Grand and Eagle counties.
Meg is a graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She started her career at the Steamboat Pilot & Today where she served as copy editor, news editor, creative services manager and advertising director. From Steamboat, Meg was recruited by McClatchy to serve as the vice president of sales and marketing for the Idaho Statesman in Boise, Idaho. In 2015, Meg and her family welcomed the opportunity to return to the Colorado Rocky Mountains, where Meg became publisher of the Summit Daily News.
Editor & Publisher named Meg one of its 25 Under 35, the Local Media Association recognized her for advertising innovation, and the Colorado Press Association recognized Meg with a Best of Show award for design and an additional innovation award.
Meg has been active in each community she’s lived in and currently serves on the board of directors for the Summit Chamber and the Rotary Club of Summit County.
Meg and her husband, Brent, enjoy traveling, cooking, reading, running, camping and chasing their two daughters, Avery and Brynn.
